The 7th session of the citizen program “You + Me = OGC Nice,” conducted in partnership with the Departmental Committee for Adapted Sport of the Alpes-Maritimes, will be exceptionally relocated this afternoon at 2 PM to the beneficiaries of the project at the Henri Wallon IME.
This somewhat special session of the “You + Me = OGC Nice” program will allow the young residents of the Henri Wallon IME to receive their mentors, Patrick Burner and Olivier Boscagli, as well as the U17 team from Gym who have been coaching them since the beginning of the season. They have determined the content of the day’s session and will guide the Nice players throughout the afternoon. On the agenda: a tour of their living place and a futsal tournament between several teams mixing the twenty or so program beneficiaries and the Aiglons.
This program, initiated three seasons ago, allows about twenty children from the Henri Wallon IME each month to benefit from training sessions put in place by the U17 team from Gym, on the OGC Nice fields. With a triple objective: to contribute to the social inclusion of these young people often marginalized due to their disability; to inspire them to engage in sports and help them improve their football skills; to offer them an afternoon of sharing and good cheer within the OGC Nice environment.
