There were 10 teams pitching in the semi-final, and now only 4 remain. Tourism Box, Handimax Pack, Exact Cure, and Hesli are the finalists in this 14th edition of the Challenge Jeunes Pousses, with the final taking place on March 25 at Amadeus Sophia Antipolis.
After 3 months of work marked by coaching sessions and quarter-finals in November, each group had 15 minutes of oral presentation to convince the jury.
After an hour of deliberation and a careful analysis of each student group, the 5 jury members have designated the 4 most advanced and innovative projects to compete in the Grand Finale:
● Tourism Box coached by José PEREZ (CCI NICE COTE D’AZUR): Tourism Box is a last-minute tourist package that saves time in organizing an unexpected trip and optimizes costs. The box will come in several themes based on the ages and interests of individuals and will be adapted for people with reduced mobility.
● Handimax Pack coached by Gabriel PLASSAT (ADEME): Handimax Pack is a package for people with reduced mobility, allowing them independent tourist travel and a planned stay with a wide range of activities at their convenience once at their destination.
● Exact Cure coached by Régis DECORME (CSTB): The ExactCure project aims to create a portfolio of web and mobile applications addressing personalized medicine issues, based on the genetic and physiological characteristics of each patient, through digital simulation.
● Hesli coached by Pierre CORBUCCI (PIROTEKNIKS): Hesli is an innovative music sharing and distribution platform where users can create and broadcast their musical identity. Based on their listening preferences and the circumstances of the moment, Hesli will allow sharing of “moods.”
The finalists now have access to a budget of €900 to develop their projects, starting with trademark registration. New coaching sessions and conferences are also planned to continue their support:
The Finale of the Challenge Jeunes Pousses will take place on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Amadeus, in Sophia Antipolis. This ultimate stage of the competition will consist of oral presentations in front of a new jury of professionals to elect the winning team, according to the competition’s selectivity criteria: the eclectic and complementary profile of the team members, the degree of innovation of the project, its level of maturity, as well as its feasibility.
