Yesterday, Christian Estrosi welcomed a diverse group of young people to the Centenary Beach in Nice to continue the “Influence Your City” collaboration that was launched last April.
It has now been four months since the Mayor of Nice launched the “Influence Your City” program. Widely disseminated through small questionnaires, this large consultation aims to better understand the expectations and needs of 15 to 25-year-olds in various fields.
“Housing, sports, culture, employment, health, etc… Our goal is to revitalize and improve the lives of young people in Nice,” said Lina, 18, a high school student and project participant. The young people were able, for an hour, to speak up and interact with the city’s officials and agents to imagine the Nice of tomorrow.
Under the theme “Your future in Nice”, “Going out/Being active in Nice”, “Getting involved in Nice” and “The City of Nice and me”, several actions were proposed, such as the creation of festivals or bilateral meetings between young people and employers.
As a reminder, in October, upon the completion of the consultation and reflection phases, a grand event “Animate Your City” will be organized during which the results of the survey and debates will be presented, along with new measures.
