The Nice table tennis players, defeated three times—on February 28 in Metz (4-1), on March 13 against Issy-les-Moulineaux (2-4), and on April 3 in Saint-Louis (4-0)—after a nearly three-month period of invincibility, are seeking a second wind that could allow them to finish the season in the top half of the standings.

They are currently in 6th place in the championship, with four wins, four draws, and six losses.

Assured of continuing their journey in Pro B next season, they are keen to notch up a few more victories in their hunt during the final four days.

In front of their home crowd (Tuesday, April 17 at 8 p.m. at the Raoul-Dufy hall), facing Villeneuve-sur-Lot, a young, very cohesive team that is stronger on paper, Olivier Maero and Cédric Rouleau’s men are determined to replicate their small feat from the first leg, which they narrowly won (2-4) on November 29.
