The 2011 population census campaign will take place from Thursday, January 20 to Sunday, February 27, 2011, in Nice.
As in previous years, following a random draw conducted by INSEE, 8% of households in Nice will be surveyed.
A questionnaire will be sent to the home of each surveyed household. Since not everyone is surveyed every year, it is possible for one household to be surveyed while a neighboring one is not.
Households involved in this survey will receive a visit from a census officer equipped with an official card and bound by professional secrecy. It is the responsibility of the surveyed individual to complete the documents provided by the census officer and return them to him or her. The census officer can assist in filling out the questionnaires.
Participation in the census is a civic duty. For the results to be of high quality, it is essential that each surveyed individual completes the questionnaires provided to them.
The responses remain strictly confidential, and the collected information can only be used for statistical purposes and under the cover of anonymity. The National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL) will ensure the confidentiality of the data is maintained.
