On the occasion of the 20th edition of the Trophées du Cadre de Vie organized by Fimbacte*, the Promenade du Paillon was awarded the Silver Prize in the “Project” category among the 85 entries submitted.
The Trophées du Cadre de Vie annually reward outstanding projects and actions in architecture, construction, urban planning, and land development.
A green lung of 12 hectares in the heart of the city, featuring 40,000 m² of planted areas comprising 1,600 trees, 6,000 shrubs, and 50,000 perennial plants and grasses, along with its 128 water jets in the water mirror and the 576 misting nozzles in its misting area, the Promenade du Paillon has now become an integral part of the Nice landscape.
Since its inauguration on August 26, 2013, the daily attendance is about 15,000 people on weekdays, with attendance doubling on weekends.
