Broadcasters, sponsors, and athletes took advantage of this meeting to sign contracts and discuss changes in their environment.

Amparo Di Fede confirmed the figures for SPORTELMonaco for this 27th edition: 3,008 participants, 1,034 companies representing 80 countries.
What makes this event famous beyond business is the Sportels Awards ceremony and its host of sports personalities invited to the evening. 2016 was no exception.
The jury was chaired this year by Canadian Donovan Bailey, Olympic champion of the 100m in 1996, alongside footballer Djibril Cissé, Olympic boxing champion Estelle Mossely, and Paralympic champion Richard Whitehead.
Dan Carter was the star this year to present his book Dan Carter: Autobiography of an All Blacks Legend, published by Marabout.
To perpetuate the Olympic spirit, Estelle Moseley, Olympic boxing champion in Rio, and Estelle Clouvel, silver medalist in modern pentathlon last August, were also present.
