After two editions organized in 2009 and 2011 at the Cagnes-sur-Mer racetrack, the Festival will be held in Grasse, in the presence of the Consul of Burkina Faso in Nice, Marc Aicardi de Saint-Paul, the Senator Mayor of Grasse, Jean-Pierre Leleux, and Burkinabe officials. This event is organized by the Association of Friends of the Consulate and takes place under the high patronage and with the support of the Consulate of Burkina Faso in Nice.
The Burkina Faso Festival aims to make this country known, discover its community that has been living locally for many years, and highlight the incredible number of organizations that have been working voluntarily for this country for many years.
This Festival is also an opportunity to discover this West African country, for which nearly two hundred associations and organizations work within the jurisdiction of the Consulate. The City of Grasse is twinned with Legmoin (southwest of Burkina Faso).
On the program: meetings with partner Associations, the Burkinabe community, and the Consulate; various activities, association stands, workshops (awalé, hairdressing, traditional painting…)
