The International Nice Half-Marathon as part of the “Nice Running Day” has found a new playground right in the heart of the Allianz Riviera stadium!

More than 4,000 runners participated in this special edition, which for the first time in its history left the beautiful setting of the Promenade des Anglais.


On the 21.1 km Hoka One One course, Kenyan John KIPKOECH took the men’s podium with a time of 1h02’19’’. Among the women, it was the French runner Amandine GINOUVES who finished on the top step in 1h27’07’’.

As usual, the front of the race led by the formidable Kenyans and Ethiopians set the pace for the rest of the open race. At the 8 km mark, as they exited the stadium, the podium took shape and the gap between the leading trio widened as the race progressed.

Kenyan John KIPKOECH secured first place in 1h02’19’’, followed by his compatriot Emmanuel BOR in 1h03’35’’ and Ethiopian Elias MOLA who claimed the third spot on the podium in 1h04’28’’.

On the French side, MJOROGE GEORGE WAIYAKINE finished in 7th position in the general classification with a time of 1h06’28’’. The first local runner, Aloys HARBONNIER, finished in 1h14’54’’.

Among the women, the victory went to French and local runner (registered at ASPTT NICE), Amandine GINOUVES, who left no chance for her main competitor, Céline MANNIC. She took the top spot on the podium in 1h27’07’’, followed by Céline MANNIC in 1h33’19’’, and Gabriela BRIEN in 1h37’18’’.

In the 10 km event, Ismail EL JEDDIOUI, licensed with AC CANNES, clinched the first place with a time of 31’24’’. Among the women, Magali REYMONENQ took the top spot in 39’46’’.
