Sunday, April 8th at Cinema Mercury (16 Place Garibaldi), Les Méduses are organizing for the 4th consecutive year an evening dedicated to the undead, those beings so dear to fantasy filmmakers.
To highlight this edition, it’s not 1, nor 2, but 3 films that will be screened as part of its Cinenasty sessions.
A Zombie Walk is scheduled from 4:30 PM to make this evening memorable, indeed a memorable day!
Zombie or not Zombie Zombie: to be dead or alive? According to a voodoo legend from Haiti, this deceased being… brought back to life by a spell. The image of the Zombie gradually evolved, eventually becoming a cult horror film character, for better… or worse. Indeed, not all filmmakers have the talent of Romero, and they escalate until they make zombies frankly comical beings. Nowadays, we’ve returned to the golden age of our beloved undead, much to the delight of audiences.
To accompany this triple screening, starting at 4 PM, a large zombie gathering is planned… so do not hesitate to come in your finest costumes… of the undead, of course!
