Nice will be the host city for this university competition that will take place from September 2 to 9 in the waters of Baie des Anges. With 122 participants representing 15 nations, 17 men’s teams, and 7 women’s teams (for the first time!), these athletes will compete in this week of sports on the beautiful water course in front of the Nice Yacht Club, which will serve as the event’s base. Organized with passion and expertise by the Nice University Sports Committee (CRSU) and its director, Laurence Antimi-Loppini.

A head-to-head confrontation on the water with 8m identical boats having 4 or 5 crew members, in a format where all competitors meet each other.
Participation
The crews consist of four (4) people. (Depending on the boat selected for the Championship, the Executive Committee may decide to set this number at five (5) people for men’s crews). The average weight of male competitors is limited to a maximum of 87.50 kg. The average weight of female competitors is limited to a maximum of 68.00 kg.
Age Categories
Competitors must be born between January 1, 1984, and December 31, 1994.
