Since 1994, the year he created his first band, Pascal Mono has never stopped: opening for Massive Attack and Eagle Eye Cherry, creating the “Togué” show, and touring with the techno-rock-industrial combo Spina—a suitable artistic training that really made Pascal Mono stand out to professionals and the general public in 2005.
Remember, in September 2005, Pascal was a surprise hit in the underground rock scene from which he emerged when he joined Star Academy 5. He revolutionized the world of reality TV by achieving the highest scores ever given on prime time or by reversing trends during his performance of “Sunday Bloody Sunday” by U2 (cheered by nearly a million votes), “Ma Gueule” (with Johnny Hallyday) or “Say it Ain’t So, Joe” (by Murray Head). A performance that captured the public’s attention and became the highlight of the season followed by some 9 million viewers each week!
On June 19, 2006: he released his first album “Intact,” which met with encouraging success right from its release, and which the artist wanted to bring to his audience on stage. A show where he delivers his energy and emotions right in your face with songs like “En Somme,” ecstatic, “Si Je Devais,” Aerosmith-style, “Les Etoiles,” super-floating, to the rock & roll “Aïe” and “TV Superstar.” One thing for sure, you won’t come out “INTACT,” always asking for more pop rock à la Mono!
The people of Nice will thus be happy to welcome him to their city on January 20th… at the 700-seat Palais Nikaïa in a show that is sure to surprise many.
