This award recognizes 1 film chosen from the two official selections of the Festival: the Official Competition and “Un Certain Regard”.
It will be awarded by a jury of 7 young cinephiles.
If you want to try your luck and you live in the Alpes-Maritimes or Var, here are some conditions for participating in the regional pre-selections:
– Be between 18 and 25 years old as of May 16, 2007;
– Not have been previously invited by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Life as part of the Youth Award;
Put together a dossier that includes:
– A letter of motivation
– A text of 2 to 4 pages in a free form (critique, poetry, song, tale, etc.) expressing your relationship to cinema and films through the following theme: “The Light”
– A detailed curriculum vitae
– 4 identity photos
