Rendez-vous aux jardins… at Villa Ephrussi
The Ministry of Culture is organizing the 23rd edition of Rendez-vous aux jardins this year. From June 5 to 7, professionals share their passion for gardens and their expertise with the general public. In Nice, you can enjoy this event at several locations such as the Promenade du Paillon and the Villa Masséna (on Saturday, June 6). This Friday, June 5, you can already enjoy a walk at the Villa Ephrussi where you can discover the history of its nine gardens.

Exhibition “Climate change: here and elsewhere”: for young and old
This exhibition taking place at the House of the Environment until June 12 highlights the environmental impact of human activities. It is aimed at children and teenagers aged 7 to 17 and takes the form of a comic strip that simply and illustratively explains the causes of global warming and solutions available to everyone.

Festival l’Autre Emoi: Three days of celebration, art and inclusive sharing at 109
For 30 years, this festival “offers three days of meetings and conviviality mixing amateur and professional performers, disabled people and the general public”. This year, from June 5 to 7, it will celebrate, at the initiative of the company Le grain de sable, the Cultural Inclusion Centre (PIC) which brings together a collective of artists working with people with mental, psychological and motor disabilities. This event combines performances, workshops and shared meals in a welcoming and festive atmosphere.

Hours: from 2 pm on June 5 (hours vary depending on the day’s programme), all shows and workshops are free, except the “Figures” show (€10) on Saturday at 8 pm.
Festival “Jazz à Valrose”: The best of the emerging jazz scene invests the Castle park
On June 5 and 6, Jazz à Valrose welcomes “the best of the emerging jazz scene”. On the programme for June 5: UniCA Jazz Band, O’JAZZ AMU & Co and Isaiah Collier. The festival also offers creative workshops hosted by the association La Semeuse, a bar area with Brasserie d’Aqui and a selection of food trucks. Admission is free for students and staff of Côte d’Azur University, as well as for staff of its member institutions and partners. Also free for accompanied minors.

Commedia dell’arte Festival: Let the show begin!
The commedia dell’arte festival takes place from June 5 to 18. “It offers the public the pleasure of savoring a theatrical art form born in Italy in the 16th century, based on gesture, posture, voice and mask.” On June 5, you can attend the show “Catarina Segurana”, a historical comedy that recounts the heroic resistance of Catarina Segurana against Franco-Turkish armies in 1543.

Performance: Patrick Moya creates live at Louis Nucéra Library
The famous artist Patrick Moya will paint live at the Louis Nucéra Library a work dedicated to the letters of the alphabet. The library explains: “Come discover the mischievous, colourful and iconic universe of Patrick Moya during a live performance dedicated to the letters of the alphabet. A for Avatar, D for Dolly, M for Moya, O for Bear…”

(Re)discover “The Immigrant” at the Cinemathèque
As part of its cycle dedicated to a retrospective of filmmaker James Gray, the Nice Cinemathèque presents the screening of the dramatic-historical masterpiece “The Immigrant” (starring Marion Cotillard and Joaquin Phoenix). An excellent opportunity for film enthusiasts to (re)discover this moving work on the big screen.

Marc Lavoine & The Southern Choir: The event concert at Palais Nikaïa
Europe’s largest choir, led by conductor Frank Castellano, teams up with the sensitivity and energy of famous singer Marc Lavoine for two exceptional performances. Expect a grand, family-friendly show rich in emotions where the powerful voices of the choir blend with the artist’s greatest hits.

Escape Game at the Opera: Become the hero of The Count of Monte-Cristo!
Dive into the heart of an unprecedented immersive adventure inspired by Alexandre Dumas’s masterpiece: The Count of Monte-Cristo. Designed by L’Événement Clef, this full-scale escape game invites you to walk through the hushed corridors and gilded halls of Nice’s Opera. Two options are available: an “All Ages” session suitable from age 7 for families, or the “Revenge” version for maximum intensity.

Nice Celebrates the Tour: BMX Show and festive village at Quai des États-Unis
To celebrate cycling and sustainable mobility, Quai des États-Unis transforms into a large festive village. On the programme: a freestyle BMX show, a “smoothie bike” to mix your drinks with the power of your legs, virtual reality challenges and tests of electric-assist bikes. For the more sporty, the start of the Metropolis cyclosportive race (87 km) is also held on the same morning.

L’Arty Show returns to the heart of the Nice hills
The 3rd edition of L’Arty Show – Festival of Arts and Creators will enliven Clos Lou Belletan. Nearly thirty local artists and craftspeople will present their works in a friendly atmosphere. Throughout the day, the public will be able to meet the exhibitors, discover their expertise and support local creation in close proximity to the area.
