This event is certainly a gathering of connoisseurs, with faithful attendees numbering between 3000 and 4000 each year. After all, certain styles of music require knowledge, passion, and open-mindedness.
The festival runs from July 20 to 26, 2007, featuring a concert each evening. The concerts are diverse, as most of the invited artists come from other countries. This year, there will be artists from Romania, Germany, and even as far away as Japan. It’s an exceptional visit, especially since these monks have never left their country. Accompanied by the musician Stomu Yamash’ta, they will perform a remarkable show using only stones.
