This is likely a return to his roots for this Var native. After experiencing vast spaces, spending a childhood in Senegal, growing up in Rome, working in French Polynesia and St. Barthélémy, and after accompanying the French delegation to the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, Pierre Blanc decided to settle in Villefranche-sur-Mer, armed with solid experience. Throughout this long journey, he not only obtained his Physiotherapy diploma in Marseille, validated his Osteopathy certificate, pursued training in sophrology and stress management, and practiced fitness activities in major hotels. This demonstrates his commitment to never considering the task as complete.
Today, married to Cécilia, a freelance photographer, and father to a three-year-old daughter born in the Caribbean, Pierre Blanc remains an accomplished athlete and passionate about “remedies for bodily suffering,” “involving real and sincere human relationships,” as he emphasizes. This approach explains his shift towards osteopathy, capable of providing “answers to questions left unresolved by physiotherapy.” According to him, learning osteopathy requires the qualitative development of manual and bodily perception, as well as an overall understanding of the individual: a “practice that makes each patient unique and thus, each treatment fascinating.”
When you enter his waiting room, large-format photographs taken by his wife already give you a sense of well-being. On the left is the fitness room overlooking a private garden: cardio training with a rowing machine, a bike… but also a vibrating platform to refine the silhouette before the holidays! This fitness space is organized for personalized follow-up. It allows for meeting goals formulated by patients through programs developed based on a capacity assessment.
On the right, the massage room offers a range of possible interventions: personalized massages with essential oils, anti-stress massage, fitness and coaching sessions. Managing one’s body, according to him, also involves dealing with pain, stress, health capital, and taking care of one’s youth capital. With a smile always on his lips, Pierre Blanc clearly never tires of explaining his practice.
