For more than two years now, the Federation of Associations of the County of Nice has been undertaking a task of considerable scope: restoring the old chapel of Notre Dame du Bon-Voyage, on the northern outskirts of Nice, along the royal road that once connected the city to its then-capital, Turin. Having collected the prayers of all travelers arriving in or departing from Nice, from royalty to the humblest visitors, the building had fallen into disrepair over the years. In 2005, the FACN launched a fundraising effort to gather the necessary funds for its restoration. Thanks to these donations and various grants, the work was able to start at the beginning of the summer and concluded at the end of 2007.
