Pierre: a Nice native who is popular at the Star Academy

Latest News

pierre.jpg It is true that it is not the first time the doors of the castle of Dammarie-lรจs-Lys have opened to the people of Nice. Jenifer, Lucie, Georges Alain, and Pascal Mono, in previous years, attended the courses at this academy.

In 2007, Pierre, with his distinctive voice, represents Nissa. On forums dedicated to Star Academy 7, he is described as a person who “is very appreciated by his peers. They often come to him for advice or comfort. This young man seems comfortable with himself and is aware of the privilege he has being in the castle. Modest, mature, with a unique voice, present during the prime time shows and in the life of the castle. He could go far in this adventure… and we are hopeful.” Fingers crossed!

It’s noon. The sports class with Christophe Pinna has just ended. Pierre gives us a few moments over the phone before starting the other activities offered at the castle.

Nice-Premium: Hello Pierre, how are you?

Pierre: I’m doing very, very well.

N-P: The doors of the castle have been open for over a month now, are you still happy to be part of this adventure?

Pierre: Yes, absolutely. I am still happy to be here.

N-P: How did your passion for music begin?

Pierre: It was a series of events.

N-P: Tell us about your musical influences?

pierreee.jpg Pierre: I’ve done piano bar. What I do is more pop with jazzy influences. I want to incorporate electro-acoustic music. That’s what I was preparing before joining the castle. Now, here at the castle, I sing what I am given to sing, and I would like to be offered songs that fit me a little more. I haven’t had the chance to do that. But I take advantage of every moment, every class: of everything that’s given to me.

N-P: During the last prime, you sang “Con te partirรฒ” in a duet with Andrea Bocelli. Was that a challenge?

Pierre: Yes, it was a challenge. I never imagined singing with him. I was a little scared. But the teachers came together to help me because it was very difficult for me.

N-P: You did well. Italian suits you well.

Pierre: Thank you. Actually, for Friday’s prime, I will be singing in Italian with Eros Ramazzotti and Ricky Martin on stage.

N-P: You share the stage with great music artists…

Pierre: I am extremely happy. I’ve sung with Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Johnny Hallyday, Frรฉdรฉric Franรงois…

N-P: Your duet with Patrick Fiori was a beautiful emotional moment when you interpreted “Quatre mots sur un clavier”!

Pierre: I was very pleased. I missed the start of the first sentence of the song a little because I got involved in something that wasn’t my business. It traumatized me a bit. I wanted it to be perfect because he was so kind to me. But then I got into it. It’s difficult when you share a duet with an artist. You really have to be efficient.

N-P: To conclude, what is Pierre’s motto?

Pierre: Pierre went from Maurice Jaubert to Dammarie-lรจs-Lys. Everything has gone well so far. He’s having a lot of fun. Pierre’s motto? It’s Strength and Courage.
