The Sustainable Development Commission of UPE 06, chaired by Georges DAO, within its “innovation chain” theme organized the first edition of Business Accelerator 06 on January 26 at the PALAIS DES EXPOSITIONS in NICE, an event aimed at bringing together all local stakeholders playing a role in the growth of the innovative economy.
The objective: to connect young innovative companies with major corporations, partners involved in start-up and innovation support, structures hosting young businesses, and local authorities (CG 06, municipalities, urban and agglomeration communities, and the PACA regional council).
The originality of BUSINESS ACCELERATOR 06 lies in its ability to establish and “boost” business relationships within our department with a willingness to sustain the action.
40 innovative companies were able to meet buyers/decision-makers (major corporations) and investors (with an emphasis on private investors, individuals, and investment funds) as well as support experts present in our territory.
“The goal is to help companies take a new step, “boost” their commercial launch, and ultimately act on local economic development and investment in the Azurian region. The benefits are multiple, and the results will benefit all stakeholders involved,” explains Yvon Grosso, president of UPE 06.

Initiated by the Union for Enterprises of the Alpes-Maritimes, a Sustainable Economic Development Commission chaired by Georges Dao has been established with various themes.
The “innovation chain” theme brings together volunteer members from the local economic fabric. This group organizes a major event in a sustainable economic vision of our
territory: the first BUSINESS ACCELERATOR 06.
