Against 810 kg last year!!
A grand celebration for the operation was held on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Forum Jacques Médecin Place Masséna in Nice, in the presence of Mrs. Bernadette Chirac, president of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France, and Lorie and Christian Karembeu, the godmother and godfather of the Pièces Jaunes operation.
The program for this afternoon of solidarity included: “the partners’ village” with stalls, “the Olympic village” with sports performances, a large stage with shows and renowned artists such as Billy, Baptiste Giabiconi, Sheryfa Luna, or the Collectif Métissé, activities organized throughout the day: folk groups, marching bands, sports demonstrations, face painting stands… weighing of the Pièces Jaunes piggy banks… So many highlights for an exceptional afternoon!
To improve the lives of children and teenagers in hospitals and take part in this day, do not hesitate to join the great Pièces Jaunes celebration organized in the heart of Nice and don’t forget to bring your piggy banks for a giant weighing by the Banque de France!
