The Communal Center for Social Action of Nice, with the help of its partners, mobilized to organize several events in its establishments on the occasion of the Carnival festivities.
Costumes, intergenerational workshops, masks, parades, and balls are on the program of these festivities.

Carnival mask preparation by the children of the Saint Lambert nursery and the residents.

Show hosted by the children of the Notre Dame Recreation and Leisure Center, gift exchange made by the residents and children, tasting of bugnes.

St Barthélemy Residential Home – 64 Cyrille Besset Avenue – Nice
Costumed ball hosted by Christian Berardi for the residents of the Residential Home and members of the St Barthélemy, Gambetta, Pasteur and St Roch Clubs.

Veterans Retirement Home – 51 Orangers Street – Nice
Residents and families can dance in costume. The residents will create masks in a workshop with the young volunteers from Unis Cité Méditerranée.

Wednesday, March 9, 2011 – from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM
The VILLAGE, the House of Solidarity and Sharing, will participate in the Ariane Carnival organized by the Django Reinhardt Recreation and Leisure Center.
The parade will follow this itinerary: starting from Chênes Blanc Street, going up the Ariane Boulevard to the square, and returning to the Lecuyer Garden.

Residents can enjoy themselves in a folkloric atmosphere where colors and costumes will parade to lively songs and oriental dances.

St Augustin Retirement Home – 30 bis Mahonias Street – Nice
Costume parade worn by staff and residents, snack around pancakes in partnership with the Association of Pink Blouses, followed by a masked ball with Mr. Cornil, accordionist.
