The Poët Poët Days, the second phase of the “Poetry in All Its Artistic Forms” Festival, is based on an original concept initiated by Sabine Venaruzzo, whose heart is… Poetry. From this beating heart, artistic veins spread out combining writing, painting, dance, singing, theater, cinema, photography, video, sound, and many other forms of Art, making this festival both a plural and unique event…
Democratizing Poetry, bringing it closer to people by taking it, with an open heart, into places that are part of our daily lives… Such is the mission of the Company Une Petite Voix m’a dit and the OSCARR Association, co-organizers of this Festival from March 10 to 27, 2011.
For two weeks, artistic activities of all styles will spring to life at the Hi Hotel, Le Volume, Mercury Cinema, Brasserie de la Nation, Privat Sorbonne Bookstore, Garibaldi Associations House, Romagnan Cellar, Fnac, MUSEAAV, Brouillon de Culture, Palais Lascaris, Semeuse Theater, and the Opéra Plage in Nice… but also at the André Verdet Media Library in Carros and the Sancta Maria de Olivo Chapel in Beaulieu!
Poetic and musical performances, listening rooms, the Night of the Tchatcheur, film screenings, writing workshops, slam/poetry, photo exhibitions, musical tales, readings, and multidisciplinary performances will unite their differences to enchant everyone!
A beating heart, a heart that opens up, a heart that writes…
Until March 14, the public is invited to declare their love by posting sweet words, poems, and letters in more than 50 “Love Mailboxes” (the first phase of the “Poetry in All Its Artistic Forms” festival) located throughout the Alpes-Maritimes department!
Child’s heart, adult’s heart, heart that creates… Until March 23, young and old alike can unleash their imagination and creativity in plastic arts and writing workshops offered by visual and literary artists.
The Poët Poët Days… exceptional encounters in infinite artistic universes!
With the support of the Printemps des Poètes
