Historical reminder: In 1969, an American town located 60 km from Woodstock hosted a music festival that became the iconic gathering of the 1960s hippie culture: three days of peace.
41 years later, the Woodstock spirit has crossed the Atlantic and will “float” at the 1st Festivallée Rock, where about ten bands will perform.

“Nothing but the best! Besides their own compositions, the bands will play covers that were performed at the festival that made music history,” says Gilles Clerc, the president of the Musique Emotion association.
There will be music from Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Joe Cocker, and The Who. Yes, for over eight hours, nonstop, the 1st Festivallée Rock will, for free, open its stage to great rock. A technically professional setup will be present. A true musical and colorful fireworks display will light up the evening.
Advice: bring your rugs and beach mats and feel free to dress in hippie fashion! You’ll have the perfect look for the 1st Festivallée Rock on Saturday, June 5th, in Drap.
