The MJC Picaud presents on April 15 at 9:30 PM, a concert by Dialect Music.
Dialect Music is the story of a meeting between talented musicians and an unconventional rapper. Coming from the challenging neighborhoods of Lyon, Gassam, known as Gas, is a biology researcher by day and a rapper by night. He is seen growing on stage in various groups (IPM, Medina, Octopussy). This unconventional researcher dissects the human being from all angles and aspects, with an elastic flow that skillfully blends everyday life with the magic of imagination.
On stage and live, Gas delivers with a polymorphic flow, between rap, slam, and singing, rich and subtle lyrics. The influences are numerous: Serge Gainsbourg, Outkast, and The Meters, among others. With an enthusiastic and offbeat perspective on our world, DIALECT MUSIC brings a breath of fresh air to the Francophone music scene. Like alchemists, they use each other’s influences to create a magical formula they call “Organic Hip-Hop.”
