Following the official launch of the Autobleue system in Nice on Saturday, April 9, 2011, the municipality of Cagnes-sur-Mer is now set to go 100% electric with vehicles ready to revolutionize the population’s travel habits.

Since the launch, Nice Côte d’Azur is the first community in France to implement, on a large scale, a Car Sharing system exclusively with electric cars.
Within the Nice Côte d’Azur territory, 210 electric vehicles will eventually be distributed across 70 stations.
The priority in transportation is to promote gentle modes of transport or those using clean energy.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community thus affirms its desire to become a reference territory, reflecting the national challenge of a society reorganizing around the theme of sustainable development.
