A SHIP IN DRY DOCK…. ???

This Saturday marked the fifth day of the Elite League in inline roller hockey, where the Angels, who were coming off three consecutive defeats against Amiens, Anglet, and Grenoble, hosted Angers, a historic team in the championship that is struggling at the start of the season.

In a match reminiscent of this season’s prior encounters, the Angels, despite having demonstrated a disciplined defense and an offensively organized team full of good intentions, fell victim to their inability to pose a real threat to the opposing goal. The Angers team, on the other hand, was defensively patient but not necessarily stronger and managed to show more discipline along with effective finishing.

Bruel’s men will need to move past this defeat to best prepare for the decisive match against Rouen next Saturday at the Magnan hall, still without Zapata who will be out for six weeks due to a hamstring tear.

The goals of the evening:

Angers:
Lucas (assist by Neveu)
Tijou (assists by Desroches, Charbonneau)
Desroches
Desroches (assist by Tijou)

Nice: Milano (assist by Fontaine)
