“Tuesdays of the Nice Instrumental Ensemble,” a series of monthly concerts, commented by Avner Soudry, the Conductor of the Nice Instrumental Ensemble, held at the Church of Christ, Scientist in the city center.
Every first Tuesday of the month, for the past six months, the Nice Instrumental Ensemble, either as a chamber orchestra or a string quintet (The Soloists of the Nice Instrumental Ensemble), presents a concert featuring classical, romantic, or modern repertoire, with a focus on French and local composers.
These concerts are commented on by the Musical Director, Avner Soudry, a renowned lecturer for his series “What Should One Listen for in a Musical Work?”, thereby providing the audience with the keys necessary to understand and appreciate music that is sometimes considered difficult to access.
The next concert will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 8 PM at the Church of Christ, Scientist.
