The dignity of a society, as of a city, is measured by the ability of its leaders to implement measures of mutual assistance for those who are the least favored.
A supportive and humane city is one where everyone accepts and respects each other; a city where elected officials and associations work hand in hand to provide the weakest with the means to live with dignity.
As part of this solidarity policy, the city of Nice has constructed a new public social facility of nearly 1,400 m2, functional and perfectly integrated into the new XVe Corps district.
A true one-stop shop, this reception platform for the highly vulnerable populations is managed by the social services of the Nice Communal Center for Social Action, offering comprehensive and tailored support aimed at a solid social reintegration, coordinating all social services with:
· A day reception center;
· A support service for the homeless population;
· A legal services provision.
The following services are offered:
· Meeting basic needs,
· Promoting access to rights in terms of domiciliation and access to social benefits,
· Supporting individuals in a comprehensive integration path by incorporating the various essential action measures (health, benefits, employment, housing),
· Developing coordinated partnership actions focused on food distribution, hygiene, luggage storage, health, self-esteem, employment, and sports.
Total cost: €4,700,000 including taxes.
