The members of the Supervisory Board of the airport company, who were appointed in 2008, reached the end of their three-year term during the General Meeting on May 19. The new members from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Local Authorities, appointed following this General Meeting, along with the State members appointed by ministerial decree on May 26, unanimously elected Bernard Kleynhoff as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur for a term of three years during the Supervisory Board meeting on May 27.
The Supervisory Board has a mission of overseeing the company’s management and approving operating and investment budgets. The Executive Board, appointed by the Supervisory Board in 2008 for a period of five years, continues to consist of its Chairman, Hervé de Place, as well as Didier Monges and Frédéric Gozlan.
Hervé de Place, Chairman of the Executive Board, expressed satisfaction with the election of Bernard Kleynhoff as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, highlighting the key role of the Airport in the economic and tourism development of its region.
He wishes to express his deep gratitude to Dominique Estève, the first Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the new Airport Company, who oversaw the transformation from a Chamber of Commerce and Industry concession to a publicly-owned private company and provided full confidence in the Executive Board during difficult economic conditions.
With Bernard Kleynhoff and the announced recovery, the primary challenge will be the adoption of a Strategic Plan which will serve as a 5-year roadmap for the Executive Board.
