Certainly,
Yvon Grosso: “I would like to thank all the members of the office and the commissions who are mobilizing around projects that are already bearing fruit, as numerous events are scheduled for 2011, and I salute the many companies that have joined us to share with us this entrepreneurial and activist dynamic. They can be assured of the support of UPE 06, the Enterprise Party.”
To summarize this first year of mandate in a few points:
- A year of reflection and implementation of the program launched on June 2 in the presence of Laurence Parisot;
- A year of elections with the renewal of the members of the Nice Côte d’Azur CCI: the UPE 06 list won all the seats. The UPE 06 also supported Dominique Estève’s candidacy for the Presidency of the CCIR, who won this election.
The launch of the work of the 14 commissions, all of which have worked to form their work teams and engage in contacts and action programs for implementation in 2011.
Some have carried out important actions as early as 2010:
The Sport Commission with the launch of the Ecobiz Sport platform in collaboration with the CCI NCA and the signing with EDHEC of the Charter for Equal Opportunities.
The Communication Commission, whose work with the members’ commission has enabled the implementation of a new visual identity for UPE06 deployed on all communication supports.
The activist positions to defend companies in various social and fiscal issues: (the pension debate, the Marseille port strike, the local tax on outdoor advertising, etc.)
2011 EVENTS AND PROJECTS
Yvon Grosso: “Our actions in 2011 are part of the program presented on June 2, 2010, and respond to three purposes: the attractiveness of the territory, the competitiveness of companies, and the excellence of human resources.”
Creation of new services:
At the beginning of the year, we created with the support of the UPR and ANACT the DRH club: 4 meetings per year on current topics, such as tutoring and maintaining seniors in employment or RPS.
Creation of Generation UPE 06: a reflection group of young UPE 06 member entrepreneurs on the future of UPE 06 and the development of their company, what are the implications? How to attract young entrepreneurs, etc.”
In September 2011: launch of the “global performance 06” operation
GLOBAL PERFORMANCE 06 is a dual collective operation, aimed at supporting 40 SMEs/SMIs from the AM towards CSR* on one hand (ISO 26000 methodology), and towards a Carbon Strategy on the other hand (Carbone Balance® methodology), over two 18-month sessions each.
This ambitious and unique operation in France, aims to adapt the managerial practices of business leaders and provide operational responses to the challenges of responsible growth. We wish to involve large companies alongside SMEs, in a “SME Attitude” allowing close exchanges and reciprocal business opportunities within a high-performing and forward-looking entrepreneurial fabric. Large companies are gathered in a Sponsors Club tasked with providing effective support to SMEs that wish to engage in CSR.
In line with the commission’s work, many events are already scheduled or have taken place since January 2011:
The first edition of Business Accelerator 06 in January 2011 by the Sustainable Economic Development Commission, a day dedicated to connecting young companies, investors, and order givers. This event was very successful and the 2012 version is being prepared in an even more ambitious format.
The signing of the Sport and Business agreement between UPE 06, UP Var, and CROS at EDHEC on the initiative of the UPE06 sport commission.
The March 7, 2011, event: “Women have talent” by the Employment Training Commission.

A friendly and itinerant competition where participants, starting from a given point, must rally to a determined place passing through defined stages, crossing the various basins of the Alpes-Maritimes and guiding themselves on various indications. This rally, organized with ecological vehicles, will allow employees of participating companies to discover different types of Art, as well as unique cultural heritage sites of the Alpes-Maritimes.
