Internet users have until Friday, March 2, 2012, to vote online for their favorite student music group among the 4 candidates competing in the Nice academy.
National Competition
Since 2006, the Crous of Bordeaux-Aquitaine, under the aegis of the National Center for University and School Works (Cnous), has organized a springboard event titled “Musiques de RU.” This competition is open to all students enrolled in a French higher education institution and all music genres, whether in a group or solo. The national prizes are 2,000 euros for the first prize, 1,000 euros for the second, and 500 euros for the third.
Academic Preselection
Groups are selected during academic preselection rounds organized by the Crous and then nationally after auditions of their demo submitted before January 13, 2012.

Online Voting
The Crous of Nice-Toulon is organizing an online vote until Friday, March 2, 2012, to select the group whose demo will be submitted to the Crous of Bordeaux for national preselection. Internet users can listen to excerpts from the demos submitted by candidates at www.crous-nice.fr (section: culture / events and competitions) and vote online.
The academic prizes are 250 euros for the first prize and 150 euros for the second.
