Eric Ciotti, President of the Alpes-Maritimes General Council, and Daniel Benoin, Director of the National Theatre of Nice, have signed the partnership agreement between the Alpes-Maritimes General Council and the National Theatre of Nice.
The Alpes-Maritimes General Council provides financial support to the National Theatre of Nice. In return, the theater commits to contributing to educational activities in the department’s middle schools.
Thus, each school year, 1,200 middle school students from the Alpes-Maritimes will participate in an educational project focused on the performing arts. The students will have the opportunity to attend performances, visit the technical areas of the theater, and explore its facilities. Meetings with theater professionals (technicians, actors, …) will be organized within their schools.
800 middle school students for a “theater lesson”: From the 5th grade classes, they will attend a “theater lesson” conducted by the team from the National Theatre of Nice.
