On July 1, 2011, at 7:45 PM at the inter-municipal armory, 2 Martine Carol Street, Grasse
On this occasion, on July 1, 2011 (from 4 PM to 10 PM), the Intermunicipal Fencing Hall will be transformed into a “Medieval” camp.
As a preamble and throughout the entire week leading up to this event, from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1, 2011, no fewer than 25 classes will participate in an educational project focused on this medieval era.
The purpose of this project is to conclude the fencing activity practiced by the classes from Grasse and the Val de Siagne during the 2010/2011 school year.
A reconstructed medieval village or camp will welcome students and teachers with workshops themed around this era.
After being welcomed by a storyteller, six themes will be offered to the children: “Ancient Fencing, Writing Workshop, Calligraphy, Juggling, Coats of Arms, Knight’s Equipment.”
In partnership with the educational districts of Grasse and Val de Siagne, Dominique Larose, Master at Arms, has brought this “Fencing” to the schools.
