On the occasion of the 9th edition of the Latino Night from A to Z, Falicon welcomes Brazil and Cuba for an evening. During this special event, the audience can enjoy the music of Forroccitร nia and its guests (Louis Pastorelli, Massilia Sound System, and Lou Dalfin), followed by a salsa lesson and the famous group Adalberto y su son.

The group Forroccitร nia was born from the collaboration between the Occitan group La Talvera and the Brazilian singer Silvรฉrio Pessoa. This collaboration created a unique blend where the music and instruments from Northeastern Brazil and Occitania can interact, engage in dialogue, and unite. The forrรณ from the Brazilian Northeast is a musical expression focused on dances generally of European origin. The result is an original and innovative mix of songs and dancing festive music, for an audience ready to tap their feet and ears, and to travel across hemispheresโ€ฆ

From his early days in 1977, Adalberto Alvarez, a young musician and composer, demonstrated his talent with a repertoire of sones in a salsa style. In 1984, he moved to Havana to create Adalberto y su Son. With singers like Felix Valoy and Rojitas, and a tres player of Francisco Amat’s caliber, the group has, since its inception, produced exceptional tracks such as Esperando que vuelva Maria, Lluvia, Chivo quiere que le den candela, Mal de la Hipocresia, Fin de semana, Que tu quieres que te den, El toca toca, and Dale como es.
