In the presence of Luciano Barillaro, Consul General of Italy in Nice, Yvon Grosso, President of UPE 06, launched the Club of Italian Companies of the Côte d’Azur on Monday, July 4th. The club is co-chaired by Lorenzo Ercole, CEO of SACLA, and Gilbert Stellardo, President of OGCN, with about sixty leaders of Italian companies present, including BRIONI, AQUILA Yachting, A BREDA, THALES ALENIA Space, SACLA, ANTIC immo, FMC immobilier, BANCA REGIONALE EUROPEO, MontePaschi Banque, Carige, ALBINI Epitigliani, and many others.
It was within the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Italian Republic, and particularly on this day marking the birth anniversary of Garibaldi, that UPE 06 officially launched the Club of Italian Companies of the Côte d’Azur.
The economic context is favorable for its creation as many Italian companies are established in the Alpes-Maritimes.
The objectives of the Club of Italian Companies of the Côte d’Azur:
- Facilitate their establishment and development in the territory of the Alpes-Maritimes, and combine their efforts with those of UPE 06 in favor of local economic development to serve the general entrepreneurial interest.
- Create an exchange and support platform to improve the performance of Italian companies established in the Alpes-Maritimes territory.
- Work together on common themes, sharing the same visions, and exchanging best practices on all subjects related to the development of the local economy and businesses.
- Ensure coherent and concurrent messages to public authorities and the media on common issues and projects: sustainable economic development, territorial planning, partnership governance, taxation, social matters, and regulations.
The Club of Italian Companies of the Côte d’Azur aims to become a regular meeting place to address issues specific to the territory, initiated by one or the other partners and according to the territory’s current events.
This initiative is part of the objectives set by Yvon Grosso for this mandate, notably the development of the attractiveness of the territory.
