General Assembly of Hunters of the A-M

The General Assembly of Hunters will be held in Auron

This Saturday, March 28, 2012, Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, attended the General Assembly of Hunters of the Alpes-Maritimes, which will be held for the first time since the creation of the Metropolis in Auron (Municipal Hall) instead of the city of Menton.

This choice signifies the desire to express a strong symbol linked to the Metropolis, as Auron is one of the villages within the commune of Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée, which is part of the Metropolis. A united territory – Highlands and Coastline – for united people.

Presided over by Bernard Baudin, Deputy Mayor and President of the Hunters’ Federation of the Alpes-Maritimes, this General Assembly will be an opportunity to revisit the adoption of a hunting law, the result of tireless work, covering three main series of provisions:

• hunting institutions and practice

• hunting and nature

• hunting and agriculture.
