This Friday, June 7th at 3 PM, thanks to the LAFARESIDO association, a faithful partner of the cultural actions of the CHU of Nice, high-quality music ensures a regular and sustainable cultural life in gerontology. An exceptional concert in favor of the patients and residents.
Since 2006, this association, chaired by Alain Cloetta, has generously organized thirteen concerts per year to bring music to living places and encourage seniors to maintain an openness to the outside world.
This year, to share emotions, the Cimiez hospital will host “Les Voix de Nice” directed by Albert Tosan. This choir, created in 1902, organizes many concerts each year in support of charitable works such as Unicef, Caritas, RetinaFrance, and more…
After numerous international tours, it is on the entrance parking lot of the hospital, transformed into a stage, that the 150 choristers of this ensemble will present an emotionally rich show to approximately 100 patients and residents moved for this occasion by many volunteers.
This emotionally rich event will allow them to discover or rediscover songs from all over the world and high-quality opera arias.
As Alain Cloetta, President of the LAFARESIDO Association, who will thus organize his 427th concert in care locations, emphasizes: “There is nothing like seeing the smile of people who are suffering and who, at least for a moment, catch their breath and breathe again thanks to music and singing.”
