With 11 concerts, the City of Biot celebrates Music and the arrival of summer with a fanfare of notes of all colors and styles. Pop, rock, soul, jazz, choral singing, bel canto, hip-hop, and new wave will vie for the audience’s favor in the historic center from Place de Gaulle to Place des Arcades, passing through the F. Mistral Garden and Rue du Portugon.
PLACE DE GAULLE
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Fabrice – Pop/rock
Fabrice C., classically trained at the Antibes conservatory under Albert Lance, sings a repertoire of pop rock music (Simple Mind, U2, Kean), international and French hits (Tom Jones, Lavillier, Gainsbourg).
8:30 PM – 10:00 PM: Borderline Music – Soul/blues
Borderline is a band with a ‘vintage’ touch from the 60s and 70s. The band plays on the grounds of soul and blues while venturing toward some rock standards.
10:30 PM – 12:30 AM: X-Y – Alternative rock
X-Y is an alternative rock band whose modern sounds, heavily influenced by the US scene, and ever-growing energy make them a must-see group on the Côte d’Azur. They were nominated for the “Hollywood Music in Media Awards” in November 2011 in Los Angeles.
RUE DU PORTUGON
8:30 PM – 11:00 PM: Zanella Trio – Jazz
An acoustic jazz ensemble from the Alpes-Maritimes, Zanella Trio offers a soft and deep sound, a varied repertoire combining all swings and also exploring some world music territories, between standards and original compositions.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Adult choir of the “Biot Enchantant” association
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Chilly Creeps – Lounge/pop/rock
10:00 PM – Midnight: No Tip – Rock/dub
With lyrics in French, No Tip switches from rock to reggae with some “jungle-like” passages, achieving a good compromise between the raw energy of Metal and the hypnotic groove of Dub.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Group from the Espace des Arts et de la Culture – Guitar
Roger Lartheau, guitar teacher at the Espace des Arts, will present the work done with his students throughout the year. Parents and children will be invited to a concert composed of multiple rock, blues, and pop covers.
7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Press Gang Metropol – New wave
Press Gang Metropol, created in 2006, draws its inspiration from the new wave of the 80s and the cold wave rock of more current bands.
10:00 PM – Midnight: Gioia – Bel canto
Gioia is a group of three singers who perform popular songs.
