It was at the Opéra Plage in Nice that the students of the Pro’artigraphe school decided to present their end-of-year fashion show yesterday, late in the day. Among bright colors and an offbeat style, the young graphic designers finally brought a whole year of hard work to fruition…

defile-2.jpg6:15 PM, the fashion show started with a few minutes’ delay. On the improvised catwalk of Opéra Plage, the models from the Pro’artigraphe school walked rhythmically, clearly enjoying themselves as they “put on the show.”
Backstage, the atmosphere was equally electric; amidst shouts, laughter, and music – Virgin Radio was a partner of the fashion show – the final touches of makeup and hairstyles were hurriedly completed. The school, in partnership with the Carros CFA, was provided with a workforce as young and dynamic as the trainee stylists, all sporting magnificent hairstyles.

Since February, every Friday, the 20 fashion design students have been preparing this event, working 8 hours a day. Enough to bring the entire year’s project to fruition.
The different themes addressed during the school year were all represented: deconstructed style, colorful, chic, ultra-architectural, or even summery.

The trend this year was glamorous mini dresses, very colorful and vibrant, halfway between the spirit of “modern-day princesses” and working girls for the girls. As for the boys, the “street style” was a must but preferably heavily accessorized – notably with an “it” dog with pink-dyed fur that charmed the entire audience!

Coached by professors who are all professionals in the world of fashion and design, these budding stylists had to successfully manage their project from start to finish; from drafting, selecting materials and colors, to the realization of the garments: everything was imagined and created by each of them.

A challenge that the 12 “upgrade” students and the 8 first-year BTS students took on brilliantly.
If for a week the students have worked tirelessly, from 10 to 12 hours a day, the result is completely successful: two hours of a spectacular, colorful show for a fashion show synonymous with an end-of-year celebration!
