Until Saturday, June 30 at Parc Phoenix, 405 Promenade des Anglais – Nice
An unprecedented experience! The City of Nice and the A2D3 association are organizing a sensory exploration of Parc Phoenix through water. On the agenda: a beautiful exhibition composed of works by different artists and exciting and informative activities where visitors, both young and old, will become explorers.
Art and Matter
A beautiful exhibition, located in the Emeraude room, invites the visitor to discover water through various artistic sensitivities: painting, sculpture, and photography by four different artists: Nathalie Gayde, Suzanne Julien, Dominique Picard, and René Ghiselli. Visitors will also find the exhibition “Water, a Vital Resource” by Yann Arthus Bertrand. Children’s drawings, resulting from participation in the activities, will enhance the exhibition.
From Young to Adult Explorers: Treasure Hunt and Water Tasting for All
Activities and games will invite both young and old to discover or rediscover the universe and theme of water. Among the proposed program: a treasure hunt organized by volunteers from the association and titled “along the water” will invite you to complete missions in the heart of Parc Phoenix and will transform you into a true explorer.
In parallel, water tasting workshops will be organized to learn to discover the different tastes of water and to recognize them using a flavor wheel.
· Activities/School Group Reception: on June 13 and 15, Parc Phoenix will welcome, starting at 9:30 AM, nearly 120 children in total as part of this exploration.
· Activities/Public Reception: from 2 PM to 4 PM, on the weekends of June 16 and 17, June 23 and 24, and Saturday, June 30, 2012.
