On September 24, 25, and 26, the 14th Youth and Mediterranean Conference will take place at Parc Phoenix in Nice. These meetings of the Euro-Mediterranean Network are essential for ensuring the protection of the Mediterranean Sea.
For three days, stakeholders involved in the protection and awareness of marine and coastal environments around the Mediterranean will debate and reflect on the theme of climate change. This event is organized by the Marine World Discovery Center, an association focused on environmental education and sustainable development, under the high patronage of the European Parliament. This associative structure is both an animator and carrier of the Euro-Mediterranean Network (REM).
During these 14th Youth and Mediterranean Conference, successful actions will be presented to find common, sustainable, and concrete solutions. This exchange should allow delegations to consider solutions to the issues in their areas of intervention.
As every year, the event will bring together representatives from the 21 countries around the Mediterranean to sustain the REM, a network of grassroots actors aimed at sharing practices, creating tools, and launching awareness campaigns throughout their areas of action.
The event will revolve around youth proposals on the theme, expert conferences, an exhibition, workshops, and roundtables.
