The Nice City Council will take place today starting at 8:30 AM, with numerous deliberations on the agenda that are expected to animate the debates. Scheduled and live on www.nice.fr: The new regulations for parks and gardens, the launch of public consultation for the Ray, the construction of a Wall of the Righteous in the alley of the same name on Castle Hill, and the much-anticipated deliberation on creating an early childhood facility in the Iscles of Sainte-Marguerite.
This will be especially the first city council following the official start of the campaign by the outgoing mayor, Christian Estrosi, who has joined the starting line of the upcoming local elections among his known challengers to date.

5.1 – Municipality of Nice – Enhancement of the Ray area – Launch of public consultation
The city council is asked to continue thinking about the future of the Ray area by launching a consultation to select a multidisciplinary team to work on the upcoming project, incorporating the results of the consultation conducted by the city of Nice.
5.2 – Grants for facade renovations, renewal of the grant allocation scheme for operations within the scope defined by deliberation no. 6.5 of December 20, 2006.
The city council is asked to agree to renew the grant allocation scheme for operations within the scope defined by deliberation no. 6.5 of December 20, 2006, for three years (2014-2016).
5.3 – Allocation of specific and nominative municipal grants for facade restoration (deliberation 5.9 of April 8, 2011). Modification of the grant amounts 14, rue Saint François de Paule and confirmation of grant amount 99, quai des Etats-Unis. Extension of the deadline.
The city council is asked to authorize the payment and allocation of municipal grants and to extend the allocation deadline for two previously presented files.
5.4 – Grants for avenue Jean Médecin and protected constructions as per the local urban plan, renewal of the scheme.
The city council is asked to agree to renew the grant scheme for avenue Jean Médecin and for protected constructions under the local urban plan for three years (2014-2016).
5.5 – Rehabilitation and extension of Crémat school. Request to open joint public and parcel inquiries.
To meet the operational and standards compliance needs of Crémat school, the city of Nice needs to acquire parcel BT no. 6 on which the school is currently built, and for which amicable acquisition was not achieved. It is therefore proposed to the city council to request from the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes the opening of joint public and parcel inquiries.
5.6 – Creation of the innovative Saint-Isidore hub – request for funding from institutional partners for the expansion of the school group, creation of a leisure center, and creation of an early childhood facility
The city council is asked to authorize the Mayor or his representative to submit a funding request to financial partners for the expansion of the Saint Isidore school group, the construction of a new kindergarten, as well as the creation of a new leisure center and a multi-care center for early childhood.
5.7 – Creation of an early childhood facility in the Iscles of Sainte-Marguerite. Request to open joint public and parcel inquiries.
The city council is asked to authorize the principle of creating an early childhood facility in the Iscles of Sainte Marguerite neighborhood, within the real estate complex called Nice la Plaine 1, listed in cadastral section OK no. 28, 87, 157, 159, 163, 165, 168, 295, 296, 301, 302, 305, 306, 309, 310, 311, 312, 313, 317, and 318. Note that in the Nice Meridia sector, 200 children are already on a waiting list. Moreover, in light of the development of the Plaine du Var, with the national interest operation Eco Valley, which will attract numerous companies and result in the creation of nearly 3,500 new housing units, this project anticipates early childhood needs in this city sector. To realize this public facility, it is necessary to request from the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes the opening of joint public and parcel inquiries.

11.1 – Construction of a Wall of the Righteous in the alley of the same name on Castle Hill
The city council is asked to authorize the construction of a commemorative wall in the Alley of the Righteous among the nations, located on Castle Hill, and to inscribe the nominal list of the Righteous established by the French Committee for Yad Vashem.
11.2 – Development of Pierre Gautier square – Partial transfer of antique dealers.
The city council is asked to approve the transfer of 48 antique dealers currently located in Cité du Parc and Cours Saleya, to Pierre Gautier square.

16.5 – Convention for Educational and Social Actions of the City of Nice with the Academic Directorate for the 2013-2014 school year.
The city council is asked to approve the convention to be entered into between the Ministry of National Education Academy of Alpes-Maritimes and the city of Nice, defining the partnership relationship in Educational and Social Actions in favor of young people and their families for the year 2013-2014.

18.2 – Innovative partnership between the city of Nice and the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis regarding the reception of young children of student parents in the city’s Early Childhood facilities. Signature of the Convention.
The city council is asked to approve a partnership agreement between the city of Nice and the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis concerning the provision of early childhood places for the benefit of students.

40.1 – Renewal of the agreement between the City of Nice and the Fund for the Integration of Disabled Persons in the Public Service
To promote the integration and retention of disabled workers, the city of Nice wishes to strengthen the “disability” human resources policy implemented since 2008 by renewing, for the period 2013-2015, the partnership initiated since 2009 with the FIPHFP.
