This Friday, Eric Ciotti, president of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Mrs. Claude Lorenzelli, President of the Montjoye association, signed an agreement concerning assistance to victims of criminal offenses.

As part of the Urban Social Cohesion Contract, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes provides funding to the Montjoye association, which works for the protection of childhood, education, training, and housing, primarily supporting minors and young adults. Its social action also includes implementing aid for victims of criminal offenses.

Montjoye offers, through four reception centers located throughout the city of Nice and another four in the department, listening, information, orientation, and support actions for victims of criminal offenses, provided by socio-judicial professionals (lawyers, psychologists, etc.).

These professionals follow up on cases and contribute to the training of local partners on recognizing and addressing victims and their trauma.
