The Alsace-Lorraine Garden, on Boulevard Gambetta, has been hosting a collective photographic exhibition on its fences since Saturday. This outdoor collective exhibition is set up on the fences of the Alsace-Lorraine Garden until January 4, 2014.

Green Parenthesis
The photographers of the Photon collective have chosen to showcase these clearings of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of the city, these steep hill paths that remember they were once mule tracks, these mossy and steep stairs that challenge walkers, these little calm green spots, these incongruous pieces of countryside, timeless, resisting changes.
It is the wealth of the Photon collective to have opened doors long closed, to have turned rusty keys to open… a parenthesis!!
“In several neighborhoods of Nice, at the turn of a path, a staircase, one can find oneself suddenly immersed, sometimes with nostalgia, always with delight, in a haven of calm, tranquility, greenery, or countryside nestled in the heart of the city: these are the green islets, the gardens, the trails, these tiny countryside spots that have managed to resist time, true witnesses of the historical heritage that root each Nice resident in their shared history and that of their city, that the PHOTON collective wanted to highlight photographically.” – says Rรฉmi Tournier
