The 15th edition of the Cinema and Video Meetings in Nice

Latest News

The 15th edition of the Cinema and Video Meetings will take place from Thursday, November 28 to Saturday, November 30 at two cultural venues in Nice: the Volume hall and the Mercury cinema. As usual, the three days of the Meetings will be dedicated to regional and independent film creation.

rencontres_cinema_video.jpg The association Regard Indépendant has chosen the theme with multiple interpretations “De 5 à 7” for its annual event.

It will maintain the friendly reputation of this event by bringing the Mercury cinema and its surroundings to life as a meeting place between creators and the public.

The 2013 edition will be very international, with Lebanese, German, American, English, and Norman directors (in partnership with Raccord Normandie and La Petite Marchande de Films) invited to join the local filmmakers. In total, 28 films will be presented in the presence of the directors, who will discover their work live with the audience.

The jury will present the awards at the end of the screening.

The 28 films made in super 8 on the “tourné-monté” principle will be projected at the Mercury cinema on Saturday, November 30, starting at 8:30 p.m.
