The La Samain* Fantasy Film Festival is entering its third year. An azure meeting place for fans of fantastic cinema, established during the nights of Samhain, this international festival mainly focuses on genre and animation fiction but also presents works considered unclassifiable due to their great eccentricity.
It was in 1976 that the first Nice Fantasy Film Festival was created. The founder was Eric Escofier, a friend of the festival and a guest of this 2012 edition.
In 2011, the festival achieved great public success, attracting nearly 2,000 visitors. Several sessions of new and cult films were sold out.
The third edition, organized by the association Les Méduses°, will be held from October 26th to November 3rd at the Pathé Masséna, Pathé Paris, Le Mercury cinemas, and the cultural spaces Le Museaav and Le Volume.
