On September 3 and 4, 2011, in Grasse on the esplanade of Cours Honorรฉ Cresp, at the Congress Center and the botanical garden.
The city of Grasse is launching the sixteenth edition of “Bio’Grasse”, a large organic market.
As in every year, in partnership with the Agribio Alpes-Maritimes association, local organic producers will be present to offer healthy, seasonal products grown locally.
This year, come meet the 17 producers of vegetables, olive oils, olive paste, goat cheese, honey, products made with aromatic and medicinal plants (essential oils, hydrosols, flower jelly, etc.), and organic jams.
An information booth will also be available for visitors to provide information about organic farming, sales outlets, and ways to get involved as a “consumโactor!”
Agribio 06, the departmental group of organic producers, also invites you to discover the current faces of land-related professions with a screening of “Portraits of Organic Farmers of the Alpes-Maritimes”, which will take place on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at the Congress Center at 3:30 PM.
Organic producers from the department talk about their profession through their journeys, which are the culmination of a life choice. They share their experiences, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of their daily activities.
Five farmers share their passion and show that land-related professions are diverse.
Two producers will be present to interact with the public about a profession that is disappearing despite its vital importance.
