Latest News

Open to the public since July 9th, the exhibition “The History of the Princely Wedding” can be discovered at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco until November 22, 2011, and has now surpassed 200,000 visitors.

What can one see there?

This exhibition, presented by Stรฉphane Bern, is designed as a journey where visitors can almost touch the magic of the celebrations. It includes elements such as the Bride’s dress, Her tiara, the uniform of H.S.H. the Prince, the car with its hybrid technology, the invitations, unpublished photographs, the decorators’ sketches, various symbolic objects, and gifts, including those from the people of Monaco.

Why at the Oceanographic Museum?

The choice of the exhibition’s location by T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlรจne was a very natural one. H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince is deeply attached to the Oceanographic Museum, built by his great-great-grandfather Prince Albert I, and its mission to foster love, knowledge, and protection of the oceans. H.S.H. Princess Charlรจne is herself very dedicated to the protection of the oceans. It is no coincidence.
