For the 10th edition of the Canned Goods Fair, Carrefour is committed to donating 7% of the proceeds from the sales of its brand and partner-branded canned goods*, starting from January 13, to Secours populaire franรงais.
This initiative helps to raise funds for Secours populaire franรงais’s “Forgotten Holidaymakers” program.
This year, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Canned Goods Fair with Carrefour and the 70th anniversary of Secours populaire franรงais, Carrefour and its industrial partners in the canned goods sector* are showing exceptional commitment by proposing to donate 7% of the sales proceeds from canned goods to the association for “Forgotten Holidaymakers.” In 2014, this initiative resulted in a donation of โฌ372,000 to the association based on 5% of canned goods sales.
This national operation takes place in Carrefour hypermarkets from January 13 to 21, and then in Carrefour Market supermarkets from January 20 to February 4. The brand invites its customers to make a gesture of solidarity during their shopping by contributing to providing a vacation day for children from disadvantaged families.
Over the past 9 years, the operation organized in Carrefour stores around the purchase of canned goods has allowed for the donation of 2.3 million euros to Secours populaire franรงais.
A food collection will also be organized on January 17 in Carrefour Nice and all of the brand’s hypermarkets, and then on January 24 in Carrefour Market, for the benefit of Secours populaire franรงais.
