On Sunday, December 6, 2026, Nice city center will take on a festive atmosphere with the return of the Grand Christmas Parade organized by Nice Shopping. An eagerly awaited event for families, residents and visitors, just a few weeks before the end-of-year celebrations.
Over 200 artists and three floats announced
For this sixth edition, organizers announce over 200 artists, 16 professional groups and three floats designed by the Povigna and Pignataro families, whose expertise is associated with the Nice Carnival universe.
The procession will take Avenue Jean-Médecin to Place Masséna, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The attendance for the previous edition is estimated at 60,000 people by organizers, a figure that gives an idea of possible crowds.
How to enjoy the parade?
For families with children, it is advisable to arrive early in order to choose a location offering good visibility. Traffic and access to the city center may be disrupted by the gathering: you will need to check traffic and transport information released as the event approaches.
